Many parents seek a religious experience which provides their children with a sense of belonging, meaning, and spiritual identity. They ask questions such as: What will I teach my children about the world? What values do I wish to instill in my children? What spiritual community best reflects my beliefs?

The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Center County provides support to parents as they and their children embark on their spiritual journeys and look for answers to the BIG QUESTIONS. We believe that parents are a child’s primary religious educator. Our Religious Education program aims to provide a welcoming and nurturing environment in which our kids can explore and to supplement and encourage parents and families with additional opportunities to connect, seek, share, and grow.

Nursery and the Toddler Room

During the Covid-19 pandemic, we will not be offering nursery or toddler care at this time.

When we reconvene for in-person services, the nursery room is offered for parents and infants. There is a changing table, cribs, rocking chairs, baby swing, infant seats, toys and speakers to hear the service. This room was designed for nursing and feeding, changing diapers, playing, and being together in a quiet space. However, should a parent wish to keep their baby with them, they are welcome to bring them into the sanctuary.

Our Toddler Room provides loving care for crawling infants through 3 years old who are not yet potty-trained. Parents may opt to stay with their child or leave them in the care of our childcare providers who have first-aid certification and current background checks compliant with PA law.
