Board of Trustees

The Board’s job is to make sure that the mission of the Fellowship is developed and implemented and that its goals are carried out in a timely, effective way; to work to engage the Fellowship in creating and implementing long-range strategic plans; to plan for and administer the resources and facilities needed to fulfill the purpose of the UUFCC; to assess the opinions of the membership; to set policy; and to act in the name of the UUFCC between meetings of the membership. The Board of Trustees is made up of the President, President-Elect, Treasurer, Secretary, three trustees, and the minister as an ex-officio member. The Board has sole authority to enter into, manage, and terminate contracts. It has final authority in the employment of all personnel other than the minister. The Board prepares job descriptions in cooperation with the minister and the Human Resources Committee.

The Program Council

The Program council coordinates all activities represented on the Program Council and budget requests for all committees. Duties of the program area representatives include facilitating communication between the Program Council and members of standing committees, other committees, and any organized UUFCC activities represented within their respective Program Areas.

The Program Council is made up of  representatives from each of the program areas designated by the Board as belonging to the Program Council, a Chair, Secretary, the Minister, and the Director of Lifespan Religious Education. The program areas are: Communications, Community Life, Religious Education, Social Action, and Worship  Services, and Youth. The Minister, the Director of Lifespan Religious Education, and the President-Elect belong to the Program Council as ex-officio, non-voting members. All voting members of the Program Council, except the Youth Representative, must be members of the UUFCC.
