Our Middle School youth are growing into their own, starting to take ownership of their UU learning and still enjoying fun and exploration. Through teacher guided learning, we help our 6th-8th grade youth to begin to deepen their UU faith and take leadership roles.

The High School Youth Group at UUFCC is an opportunity for all interested youth in 9th through 12th grade to have fun, grow in spirit, and serve the world. Youth have the chance to explore and share together their spiritual doubts and questions. Through an approach of small group ministry, Youth Group offers a chance for youth to develop deep, caring friendships while getting to know more about themselves, Unitarian Universalism, and how to live their faith in the world.

Middle School World Religions Class
Sundays, Feb 6th & 20th, Mar 6th & 20th, In-person at UUFCC, 12:00-1:30 PM

Join us as we travel around the world and discover the world’s religions in just four Sundays. This Sunday, we will map out our destinations, examining the philosophy of religion and its role as Unitarian Universalists. Some of the questions we will ask include: What is religion? Where did religion come from? How does it shape societal and individual choice? Bring an open mind and thoughts to share with the group!

High School Youth Group

Join us Sunday, Feb 13th & 27th, Mar 13th & 27th, in-person at UUFCC, 12-1:30 PM

What is the difference between deliberation and debate? What divisions exist in your class, family, and neighborhoods? As the UUFCC youth group, can we change our society of State College? As we draw upon the last class, we will play games and engage in discussion around these topics. Before we meet, think about what causes you care about in the community. There will be time to share and discuss plans for initiatives for change in our community.

Meets in person at UUFCC the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month.
